They also claim that 67% of shoppers interact with their website before purchasing a new or used car. So if you’re looking for leads, they are the ones to deal with.

It’s an online marketplace for car purchasers and sellers founded in 1997. he site also provides users with automotive reviews, shopping advice, and comparison tools for car financing and insurance information.

CarFax: CarFax reaches millions of informed, ready-to-buy shoppers on CARFAX’s used car listings.. Their famous claim is that you can “Know Before You Buy” with their vehicle history reports, so it removes the biggest barrier to a sale, which is doubt. They do this with their CARFAX Report. Listing your car with them brings you interested leads because they can see your vehicles’ history which lends credibility to your dealership.
About Car Fax: Initially founded in 1984 to combat odometer fraud, CarFax developed a database of 10,000 cars that could be distributed via Fax Machine. By the end of 1993, Carfax obtained title information from nearly all 50 states. In December 1996, the company’s website was launched to offer consumers the same vehicle history reports already available to businesses.

KSL.com – KSL Classifieds is a classified advertisements website covering northern Utah and nearby parts of Idaho and Wyoming. It is one of the largest classifieds sites in the U.S. and the only one to draw more users than Craigslist within its local market. Facebook Marketplace: Facebook Marketplace partnered with a handful of auto dealers such as Edmunds, Cars.com, Auction123, CDK Global and SocialDealer to expand the selection of vehicles available to U.S. shoppers on Marketplace
Facebook users in the U.S. will be able to filter search results by year, make, model, mileage, transmission and vehicle type. Marketplace will also show cars’ estimated value according to Kelley Blue Book, and will enable users to chat directly with a dealership employee via Messenger
Facebook hasn’t disclosed how many people actively use Marketplace however, the company continues to give the feature prime visibility on its mobile app and site. Facebook said search volume on Marketplace has grown three times globally since Jan 1 2017, and that 550 million people visit formal “buy and sell” groups on Facebook each month.
About Facebook Marketplace: In 2007, Facebook introduced the Facebook Marketplace, allowing users to post classified ads within sale, housing, and jobs categories. However, the feature never gained traction, and in 2009, control was transferred to Oodle, the platform powering the functionality. The feature was then eventually shut down in 2014.
