General Information
Banner Ad content must be clearly distinguishable from dealershipnews.com/’s site content (i.e. ad unit must have clearly defined borders and not be confused with normal page content).
It is recommended that you supply a minimum of 6 creatives for a 6 month contract to swap out each month to combat banner blindness.
dealershipnews.com/ Banner Creation
If needed, dealershipnews.com/ can assist clients in creating banner ad units for an additional charge. We will create ads in sets of 7 sizes (see spec sheet for details) with the same design/messaging. We will utilize the landing page to identify banner message and identify imagery to produce assets. Again, it is recommended that 6 sets are used to combat banner blindness. They will be swapped out on a monthly basis.
Branding guidelines, fonts, images, banner text, and landing page URLs are required at the onset in order to create the assets.
Turnaround Times
Turnaround times start upon receipt of completed, in-spec client deliverables
Standard Banners
All Banner Ads have a 2 business day turnaround time. All other advertising assets have unique/varied turnaround times, therefore, please see your Insertion Order, or contact us for more details on specific turnaround times for your campaign.
Animation, Looping, Audio & Video Requirements
- Maximum animation length must not exceed 15 seconds.
- Avoid flashing, high contrast, fast moving and bright coloured animations
- Banners will have a maximum of a 3 loop rotation if animated.
- Ads with audio/video elements must be user-initiated (on-click or on-roll over only).
